I’m just a weird young fellow trying to make my way in a world I’ve always felt different from. I see colored letters and music, I’ve always been obsessively interested in things most people don’t care for beyond a casual glance, and I continue to watch reruns of the cartoon “Ben 10” long after the age for giving up such things is past. I’m strange, awkward, clumsy, sensitive to touch, I often say the wrong things. The list goes on.
But I like it that way, and in my (as of yet) relatively short lifetime, I’ve found just a few close companions who like it that way too. I aspire to be the best I can with what I’ve got.
Maybe you are on the spectrum. Maybe you, or someone who cares about you thinks you might be. Perhaps you aren’t, but someone you care for is, or might be. Or maybe you’re just curious. In any case, you are welcome here, professionally diagnosed or not. It is my hope that the information, news, and experiences I post here can be of help and interest to others, and provide a medium of expression, identity, and clarity for myself. As long as you don’t mind bizarre ramblings on neurology, superheroes, and space, I think we will get along fine. You see, this blog is as much for me as it is for you, the reader. Please enjoy.
Regards, The Aspiring Aspergian
